Program Cost & Tuition for Graduate Studies

The program cost associated with our graduate programs includes tuition charged per credit hour and a mandatory program fee charged by semester. Prices shown here are subject to change each academic year.

Enrollment Deposit

A non-refundable enrollment deposit of $350 is due upon acceptance to be enrolled. This deposit will be applied to the student's first tuition bill.

Graduate School Tuition & Mandatory Fees

Program tuition and mandatory fees for the 2025-2026 academic years are listed below and based on student type. Post-Baccalaureate students should refer to this page for tuition and fees.

Tuition

  • Graduate (excluding Medical Sciences and Post-Bacc): $960 per credit hour
  • Medical Sciences (MDS): $1,110 per credit hour 
  • Graduate Certificates (12 hours): $11,520
    • Includes Advocacy and Public Engagement, Data Analysis, and Health Communication 
  • Strategic Communication (36 hours): $34,560
  • Medical Sciences Accelerated (34-38 hours) : $37,740 - $42,180
    Includes Online Accelerated
  • Clinical Mental Health Counseling (60 hours) : $57,600

Mandatory Fees

  • Program Fee:  $110 per semester registered
  • Graduation Fee: $50 for graduate certificates and $150 for master's degrees
  • Clinical Management Software Fee (Clinical Mental Health Counseling students only): $250, one-time non-refundable fee, payable on first tuition statement

Books and Supplies: Costs vary by class. 

Online Students: A computer and a reliable internet connection is important for your learning experience in the online graduate program. At the very least, we recommend following the minimum hardware and software requirements outlined by Agnes Scott College.

  • Strategic Communication studentsDepending on your individual goals in the program, please keep in mind that visual design and video editing software may require more advanced equipment. 

Health Insurance: Graduate and Post-Baccalaureate students are not eligible to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan for the 2025-2026 academic school year.

Parking Fee: Students who wish to park on campus will need to pay an annual parking registration fee of $100.


Cost of Attendance for International Students

International applicants who are applying to one of our in-person graduate programs, the Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Medical Sciences Accelerated program, are required to submit an International Graduate Student Certificate of Finances form within six months of the beginning if their first semester to be considered for an I-20 issued by Agnes Scott College. 

The Certificate of Finances form is available after a student has completed their application for their desired graduate program. 

The estimated 2024-2025 annual cost of attendance below is for international graduate students and based on program credit hours. If your spouse and/or children are accompanying you to the U.S., you must show an additional $3,000 for your spouse and $3,000 for each dependent child.

International students planning to attend one of our online programs are not eligible to be considered for an I-20 issued by Agnes Scott College and are not required to submit a Certificate of Finances form.

  • Tuition & Fees (five semesters starting with fall): $57,600
  • Living Expenses: $24,000 (year one) and $16,000 (year two) 
  • Estimated Total: $99,346*

*Cost of Attendance is based upon a 60-credit hour master’s program and is subject to change without notice. Due to rising costs, financial planning should allow for a 3 to 5 percent annual increase in living expenses and/or tuition. Funding requirements will vary for students who have been offered grants or financial aid.

  • Tuition & Fees (fall, spring, and summer): $37,740-$42,180
  • Living Expenses: $24,000
  • Estimated Total: $61,740 - $66,180*

*Cost of Attendance is based upon a 34-credit hour master’s program and is subject to change without notice. Due to rising costs, financial planning should allow for a 3 to 5 percent annual increase in living expenses and/or tuition. Funding requirements will vary for students who have been offered grants or financial aid.
